Battlefield 2: Reinforcements People's Republic of China 271

People's Republic of China 271

The fourth case in this series represents the People's Republic of China team from the game. This is a case-only mod, and is destined for the trophy cabinet at the Electronic Arts HQ in Colonge, Germany. Naturally, it is no less detailed than any of the others, as you will see:

This case follows the same basic design as the M.E.C. case.

If you couldn't tell it was Chinese from the red flags, Butterkneter cheekily added a pair of chopsticks for the final photoshoot. The red neon and window mod neatly ape the People's Republic flag.

Under close scrutiny, the detail is impressive. Because this is a non-functional case, there was no need for another rheobus. In its place is a panel designed to look technical; pessimists might argue it's just a chipset heatsink & fan glued to the front, but it looks cool either way. This case also features the same carry handles for easy transportation.

Here you can see the decorative allen nuts and now familiar chinese theme. The incredible detail extends to the fanbus, which is labelled in tiny chinese characters - they are even correctly arranged vertically (the Chinese read in columns top-to-bottom, rather than our left-to-right).
